Hudson is located on Interstate 94 in Western Wisconsin, exits 1, 2, 3 & 4. Downtown Hudson is located on the LDB (Left Descending Bank) of the St. Croix River, mile markers 16.0 thru 17.5.  All of Hudson Bay on the St. Croix River between mile markers 16.0 and 17.5 is a no wake zone, except between both dikes North of Beer Can Island and South of the Train Bridge.  Care is needed around the public swim area.  The St. Croix River is patrolled by both Wisconsin and Minnesota law enforcement agencies, consisting of DNR, County Sheriffs, the National Park Service, US Coast Guard, and USCG Auxiliary units.
